What makes us unique is
the knowledge we have of Cochabamba and her environs as
well as the wealth of experience that we bring to the project. The goal of the organizations administrative team
is to make your visit to Bolivia an experience of a lifetime.
All of our Spanish professors are professionally trained
and have many years of teaching experience.
The Co-Directors of Volunteer Bolivia are:
Lee Cridland is from the United States and came to
Bolivia in 1994 to work as a volunteer in a local orphanage.
She has extensive experience working with volunteers as
well as an intimate knowledge of the service sector in Cochabamba.
Lee co-founded Volunteer Bolivia in order to provide an
alternative learning experience for travellers. She is an
educator by profession and speaks both English and Spanish
fluently.
Javier Molina M. is Bolivian and studied
International Law at the University of International Relations
Taras Shevchenco; Ukraine. He speaks Spanish, Russian and
English. Javier returned to Bolivia in 1999, and since then
has been working on social justice issues. He co-founded
Volunteer Bolivia with the objective that people learn about
the realities of his country and to assist local organisations.
